Jen Stewart Fueston is a writer, teacher and blogger. She spent most of her twenties obtaining degrees, traveling widely and teaching internationally, and now finds herself in her thirties as a stay-at-home mom of two young sons, living in suburban Colorado.
Jennifer has published poems in several anthologies, as well as journals such as Ruminate, Relief, Windhover, The Other Journal and The Cresset. Her first chapbook, Visitations, was published by Finishing Line Press in early 2015.
Before returning home to teach writing at the University of Colorado in Boulder, she taught high school English in Budapest, Hungary; rhetoric, literature, and creative writing to university students in Klaipeda, Lithuania; and academic writing for international graduate students as part of the Open Society Institute’s scholarship program in Istanbul, Turkey. She holds degrees in rhetoric, composition and literature from Colorado State University and Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
